What to expect
before the service
Feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in, whether a t-shirt and jeans, or a button-down and slacks. Free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available in the lobby, as well as donuts and bagels before service. You are welcome to bring your food and drink into the auditorium.

Kids & Youth
​
We also have an excellent kids program with trusted and trained workers where your children can learn about Jesus in an age appropriate way and in a safe and exciting environment. We are open to receiving your kids 15 minutes prior to each service, visit the Kids & Youth page for more information. Our kids program during the service is for infants through 5th grade. Jr. High and High School students are encouraged to attend the service.

Teaching
After announcements, a pastor will teach from the English Standard Version of the Bible. Because we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, we teach it as it is rather than teaching our own opinion. We aim to teach the Bible in a way that is clear and understandable to all, regardless of church experience, and also in a way that challenges us to put it into practice.

Worship and Offering​

The worship music is current, ranging from modern hymns to gospel centered songs. We want you to worship in a manner that is real for you; for us at Oaks, this means low-key, non-hype, heartfelt responses to the Living God. We also set aside time during our services for those who would like to give to God's church. If you are visiting there is absolutely no obligation to give.

Prayer
​
As the last worship song plays at the conclusion of each service, those who want prayer will be invited forward and someone from our prayer team will pray for you. Nobody will pressure you to go forward to receive prayer, but the opportunity is there if you have things you would like God's help with.

After the Service
The service lasts for about an hour and 15 minutes but please feel free to hangout and meet people afterwards. We would definitely like to meet you! For parents, please pick up your kids within 15 minutes of the service ending.
