Zach started Oaks Church in Muncie, IN with a team of people during the summer of 2015. For three years prior to that he was a Staff Pastor at Clear River Church in Lafayette, IN. Zach’s responsibilities at Oaks include casting the overall vision of Oaks Church, teaching and preaching, overseeing staff, and leader development as the church grows. Before becoming a pastor Zach earned his degree in Agronomy from Purdue University. In his free time, you can catch Zach fishing, gardening, or spending time with his family. He and his wife Katie have four great kids, Knox, George, Felicity and Callum.
Austin is a full-time pastor. His primary responsibilities include overseeing, Tuesday Discipleship community and Oaks Youth Austin graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Psychology. He loves spending his free time reading a good book and drinking tea.
Trey is our full-time staff pastor. He is responsible for Wednesday discipleship community, Sunday serving teams, Student outreach, special events, and building maintenance. Before coming on staff, Trey graduated from Ball State with a degree in Nutrition. In his spare time, Trey enjoys running, reading, pick-up basketball and spending time outdoors.
Austin is our full-time worship leader. He is responsible for leading and training worship band members, leading Sunday worship at our service, and also providing help with many other office and event related tasks. Before coming onto staff, Austin was a math teacher for seven years. In his spare time, you can catch Austin watching Purdue basketball, being active, and spending time with his lovely wife Erin or two sons, Luke and Levi.
Kids Director & Office Administrator
Megan is our Director for Oaks Kids. Her goal is to coordinate a fun, safe, friendly morning for our kids so they can experience God in an impactful way. Megan also serves as the Office Administrator, which includes bookkeeping and other administrative support. In her free time, Megan enjoys playing games with friends and taking her dogs for walks.
